MAP Mentorship is founded by Kylie Cole and Basmah Hendy, two students in Halifax, NS with a passion for empowering all students and ensuring equal access to educational opportunities and resources.

At the core of their mission is the belief that every individual has unique talents, strengths, and potential. Through MAP, they aspire to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals, fostering their personal growth, academic success, and future achievements.

Meet Kylie Cole

Hi everyone, I'm Kylie! I am beyond excited to be one of the creators behind this transformative mentorship and academic program. My mission is to guide and support younger students on their educational journey, providing them with the support they need to grow not only academically, but as a person as well! When I'm not working on MAP, you'll find me at the gym, crocheting, or enjoying quality time with my friends (probably eating Thai food or ice cream).

Meet Basmah Hendy

Hey guys, I'm Basmah! MAP has been a vision of mine for a while and I'm extremely excited to see what this program will bring. I am passionate about instilling a love for learning and improving access to education and opportunity for everyone. When I'm not working on MAP, you'll find me researching in the lab, playing basketball with friends, or curled up with my cat and a good book.
